At SHS we remain true to the vision of our founders, the Girls’ Day School Trust and put girls at the heart of everything we do. Following another excellent set of A level results, SHS students will take up places to study courses including Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Geography, Latin and Mechanical Engineering at universities including Oxford, Durham, Nottingham, Cardiff and Warwick to name but a few. Academic success is across the full curriculum.
Such results are testament to the endeavour and commitment of our students as well as the very special relationship they have with their Sixth Form tutors. These results reflect how well our teachers know every individual and the small class sizes become an invaluable asset for A levels.
