At Shrewsbury High we understand that students don’t just learn in the classroom. They learn on the playing field, in the drama studio, the debating chamber, camping in the wild or exploring the city.

Our pupils are supported through their education because pastoral care is as important to us as results, our pupils do better because they feel better. Innovative programmes such as the Positive Project give our pupils the tools to be happy and balanced.

Our pupils feel confident to take risks with their learning, we help them cope with setbacks so they can go out into the world seeking to be courageous rather than perfect.

As part of the GDST our pupils collaborate with fellow GDST students across the country, broadening their experiences well beyond Town Walls.

It is our responsibility to prepare our pupils for a rapidly changing world and whatever path they choose, Shrewsbury High will walk it with them.
